Masoneilan Level Controllers
The Masoneilan 12000 Series liquid pneumatic level controllers are based on variable displacement measurement and employ the deflection balance control principle.
They reflect many years of Masoneilan’s experience in solving liquid level control problems. They provide accurate and dependable control, plus unusual ease of servicing and
adjustment.
In preparing this catalog, we have included technical, instructive and descriptive Masoneilan information, which we hope will serve as a manual on level controllers as well as a guide for prospective purchasers in evaluating the design and performance of our product.
The Masoneilan 12000 Serires, so called “long range” or “torque tube” types of level controllers, are commonly calssified as the “displacement” type. Actually, this designation applies also to ball float type controllers, since the float ised for level measurement displaces its won weight in the liquid in whcih it floats. The distinction is that ball float controllers are constant-displacement types and the torque tube variety are variable-displacement types.
